ECDAY – excellent results and adhesions
Our EuroCloud Day 2012 event, held on May 23rd at the same time throughout Europe, here in Italy, in the evocative structure of the CUOA foundation of managerial studies in Altavilla Vicentina, proved to be an event of considerable depth, with excellent contents, excellent and illustrious speakers and excellent participation of a quality public.
The event was attended by more than 1200 participants and saw the participation of the following European countries:
As Italy, we contributed with a full-day event, which saw the participation of 190 members and 150 present at the various sessions of the day.

The Italian event started in the morning at 10.00 am with the workshop Cloud Computing Platforms (PaaS, Platform as a Service), led by Fabio Cecaro, where Amazon, Microsoft and Google and a curious and hungry audience for cutting-edge solutions collided. At the same time, at 11.00 a.m., two more workshops started Introduction to Cloud Computing: What is it? What are the access models and advantages for companies?, conducted by Wladimiro Bedin and Contractual relations with Cloud Vendors and Users: between a rock and a hard place?, directed by Cristina Franchi. The three workshops ended with a buffet break from 13.00 to 14.00.
The afternoon was centered on videoconferences with the President of EuroCloud Europe P.J Billotte, the European Commissioner for the Digital Agenda for Europe Neelie Kroes and the Senior VP SAP Rainer Zinow, but the intervention of Maurizio Cuzari (CEO Sirmi SpA) was also very well attended. the intervention of the lawyer Cristina Franchi and the Round Table on the two Italian cases of use of the Cloud, the afternoon session was excellently directed by the President of EuroCloud Italia Giorgio Betti.
We are really satisfied and we can certainly say that this event has positioned the EuroCloud association among the authoritative international references on the subject of Cloud Computing.
